As a strategic and independent committee, the Research Council Industrie 4.0 supports the Plattform Industrie 4.0, its working groups and the federal ministries concerned, in particular the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The members of the Research Council Industrie 4.0 regularly share their assessments with the public.

After many years of working together, Peter Post is now saying goodbye to the Research Council. In his farewell statement, he looks back on the past and underlines the special and important nature of collaboration between science and industry.
