Support for the Non-profit Academy

The Friends Association of the National Academy of Science and Engineering was established to financially support acatech. The commitment of our supporters makes a significant contribution to safeguarding and promoting the Academy’s work. We are very grateful for their support!

Responsibilities of the Friends Association

The Friends Association is responsible for providing financial support, in particular for the following:

• scientifically important projects conducted by acatech, which highlight the role of cutting-edge technologies in industry and society
• initiatives to promote science and engineering in Germany
• projects and joint scientific events organised by acatech
• acatech-led dialogue with political, business and social institutions and with other science organisations in Germany and abroad
• the promotion of junior scientists by acatech

Donations

You can become a supporter of our non-profit organisation by donating to the acatech Friends Association. Like the Academy itself, the Friends Association is authorised to issue certificates of tax deductibility.
