Senate

The Senate is made up of prominent figures from technology companies and organisations, the major science organisations and government. They advise the academy on strategic issues and ensure close collaboration with industry in acatech’s projects. 103 Senate members currently support acatech in its work.

The Senate’s current chair is acatech President Thomas Weber. New members are elected by the Senate following their nomination by the Executive Board.
