Pathway to the Hydrogen Economy

In autumn 2021 acatech and DECHEMA carried out a survey of stakeholders entitled “Hydrogen Economy 2030/2050: Pathways and Aims”, in which around 600 people from science, industry, public administration and civil society took part. The results have now been published. They give an insight into stakeholders’ views of the scale-up of the hydrogen economy in Germany. The 70-page publication reports on the expectations of those surveyed in relation to hydrogen production and use as well as in relation to imports and infrastructure.
