H2-Compass: Results of the Stakeholder Dialogue

How do representatives of industry, science, civil society organisations and public administration view the hydrogen economy? What do and don’t they agree on? To get answers to these questions, acatech and DECHEMA conducted a large-scale stakeholder dialogue between autumn 2021 and autumn 2022 as part of their joint project H2-Compass. The results have been released in a 26-page publication. It focuses on stakeholders’ views on the following topics: “Criteria for importing hydrogen”, “Regulatory framework for business models for hydrogen production”, “Prioritisation of hydrogen applications” and “Public perception and management of expectations” by the federal government.
