Competence Development for AI (White Paper)
Artificial Intelligence promises many opportunities for companies and employees, for example through useful assistance functions, new business models or the relief of routine tasks. A central challenge in the introduction of AI technologies is the qualification of employees, as AI systems will change the task and role profiles of employees. Early skills development is therefore a key component in making companies and employees fit for the AI age. In a white paper, experts from the working group Future of Work and Human-Machine Interaction of Plattform Lernende Systeme have analysed how competence requirements will change through the use of self-learning systems and which competences will be relevant in the AI age. In addition, the authors show how a targeted and task-oriented AI competence management can be successfully established. To illustrate this, the paper presents exemplary role profiles and describes the changes depending on roles and AI competences.
