It can be said that data is the new currency, as the monetisation of existing data holds great opportunities for industrial companies. But how can the utility of a pool of industry data be enhanced? And how can the potential of monetisation be unlocked?
The Research Council Industrie 4.0, which is coordinated by acatech, held a webinar to address these and other questions on 4 May 2023. The basis for and subject of the webinar was the expert report recently published by the Research Institute entitled “Establishment, use and monetisation of an industry data pool”.
