Coordinating Committee of the German National Academy of Sciences
The German National Academy of Sciences (Leopoldina), acatech and the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities work together on projects to provide advice to policymakers and the public through the Coordinating Committee of the German National Academy of Sciences.
On the Coordinating Committee, three representatives from each of the partner academies meet to discuss joint projects and make decisions. Statements are developed in working groups, adopted following external evaluation and ultimately published.
The Standing Committee currently comprises the following members:
