Options for Importing Green Hydrogen into Germany between Now and 2030 (Materials)
What are the options for transporting hydrogen? What are the pros and cons of each? And what are the obstacles to establishing trade relations? The ESYS analysis “Options for importing green hydrogen into Germany between now and 2030” dealt with these questions. A volume of materials with the same title “Options for importing green hydrogen into Germany between now and 2030” presents the calculation methods and the methodology used in the analyses and state the underlying assumptions.
The calculations were done using an Excel tool created within the working group “Hydrogen Economy 2030”, which is also available to download (in German) and use freely. It enables the breakdown of transport costs for various transport options, the comparison of their efficiency and the calculation of the transport costs for select corridors.
