Safe and Sovereign Use of Health Data

The potential of digitalisation in the German health system has far from been fully realised. Digitalisation holds plenty of opportunities to improve our healthcare and to avoid unnecessary costs. The benefits of using health data are now so obvious that it would be negligent not to reap them.

This IMPULSE aims to provide impetus for the safe and sovereign use of health data. The paper highlights opportunities, obstacles, discussion points as well as areas of action and relates them to current legislative proposals in this domain.
