Leadership in Transition: Challenges and Opportunities through AI (Executive Summary)
Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the world of work and leading to a dynamic redesign of the division of labour between humans and technology in companies. This affects not least the area of leadership. AI systems can support managers in carrying out their tasks, especially in recurring activities and routines: this leaves more time to devote to personnel management or innovation processes. In the future, managers will play a central role in successfully shaping the AI transformation process and, as part of their duty of care, will work particularly towards the humane design of AI systems with and for employees.
