Series: Germany's Platform for Artificial Intelligence
Published: 20 June 2024

Artificial intelligence (AI) offers a wide range of potential applications for healthcare – not only in clinical but also in organisational areas! AI solutions can be used to optimise workflows, make better use of resources and avoid bottlenecks in staff deployment. This not only saves time and costs, but above all relieves the burden on nursing staff and contributes to better patient care. The use of AI in organisational processes is therefore directly economically viable for day-to-day care – and at the same time paves the way for AI in clinical processes, for example by building up AI experience in healthcare organisations or establishing new business models.
