acatech is now officially part of Kunstareal München

acatech became the newest addition to the Kunstareal München in October. Kunstareal München (Munich’s art district) is one of Europe’s most important centres of culture and science, comprising museums and universities in the heart of Munich. The area measuring 500 m x 500 m is home to a unique combination of art, culture and knowledge. 

In July 2023, acatech was a feature of the diverse programme of events put on as part of the Kunstareal-Fest entitled “Sehnsucht” (Longing), holding a public debate on artificial intelligence, the title of which was “AI – world of possibilities, world of longing?”. Together with a number of experts, “longings” from the world of work, daily life and education were explored based on robotics and generative AI. acatech in the Kunstareal München – a new relationship with a promising future: for those interested, there is plenty to look forward to in the future at the nexus of technology, art and the implications for humans.

The Free State of Bavaria and its capital city Munich are together driving the development of the museum, art and science landscape in the Maxvorstadt district of Munich, coming up with strategies to connect, present and promote the Kunstareal München better.
